The Ashford University on November 9, 2011 was awarded with the “Quality Matters 2011 – Making a Difference for Students” award. This university, accredited to Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association of Colleges and School, was recognized for the multi-year and coordinated Quality Matters initiative, which made a large scale and positive impact on the courses, thus eventually helping students to learn and apply in a better fashion. The event took place at the Third Annual Quality Matter conference, and was held in Baltimore, MD.
